The expansion Announcement
A Legacy Growing Across Southern California
Powerhouse 9.5.16 is proud to announce our official expansion. Building on our foundation of service in Orange County, we are now expanding our proven model into the seven core cities of the Coachella Valley, a regional commitment to creating stable, confident communities across Southern California.
From the coast of Orange County to the heart of the Coachella Valley, we empower youth, families, and aspiring homebuyers to move from survival to self-sufficiency.

To continue our work strengthening underserved communities throughout Orange County, California, and expanding into the cities of the Coachella Valley by equipping youth, men, and women with life skills, empowerment resources, and access to affordable housing pathways that promote confidence, stability, and long-term opportunity.

Building on our history of homelessness advocacy, Powerhouse 9.5.16 is expanding its impact through three interconnected focus areas:
- Youth Life Skills & Enrichment: Programs that build confidence, leadership, communication skills, and character development among middle and high school students.
- Workforce Dignity & Professional Readiness: Grooming services, Dress for Success initiatives, and workforce resources designed to help men and women prepare for employment and or career advancement.
- Housing Access & Stability: Expanded support for affordable housing pathways through education, financial preparation, and streamlined mortgage qualification services that help individuals and families move toward sustainable homeownership.
