Aurora has been volunteering with us since September of 2016, primarily in our Hair Salon, and occasionally with our Chili Van outreach. She graciously gives of her time to serve our residents 2-3 times a week and continues to make a tangible and lasting difference in their lives.
Powerhouse has made a huge impact here at our shelter by providing a variety of different services, from haircuts to leading personal empowerment workshops for our residents ... boosting their self-esteem, self-confidence, and gives them hope for a brighter future.
Powerhouse, under the leadership of Aurora Luna, have graciously offered to support our families to get back on track by offering free grooming services ... Our families have lined up to receive the services provided by Powerhouse and sincerely appreciate the generosity and compassion being offered.
Powerhouse has been coming to. one of our shelters, Bridges at Kraemer Place, for the past few months ... We have seen our clients develop more self-confidence and self-esteem than ever before. Powerhouse helps clients discover their beauty and worth inside and out.
